Amazon Studios’ Fallout TV series is set to debut a day earlier than expected, with all eight episodes dropping on Prime Video on April 10 at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET. Originally slated for April 12, Amazon surprised fans by bumping up the launch to April 11 along with a fresh glimpse of the show. And now, in a move that’s as unexpected as finding a three-headed mutant in the wasteland, Amazon has pulled the date forward yet again, allowing eager viewers to dive into this live-action rendition of the post-apocalyptic realm tomorrow.
Following the premiere of the inaugural episode tomorrow at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET, the subsequent seven episodes will be exclusively accessible on Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
“Drawing inspiration from one of the most iconic video game franchises in history, Fallout unfolds the narrative of societal divisions in a world where scarcity reigns supreme,” declares a press release. “Two centuries after doomsday, the privileged inhabitants of opulent fallout shelters are compelled to reenter the radioactive wasteland their forebears abandoned – only to encounter a dizzyingly intricate, delightfully eccentric, and markedly brutal reality awaiting them.”
The series stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight), and Aaron Moten (Emancipation).
Amazon Studios, renowned for hits like The Boys and Invincible, spearheads the production of Fallout in collaboration with Kilter Films and the executive talents of Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Nolan takes the helm as director for the series’ opening trio of episodes.
