Observations: I’m a third of the way there. I slipped up a few times the last couple of days, but otherwise I’m still going strong. I had a brownie. I was getting coffee and I saw them on the counter and just ordered one. It was almost like I forgot about all of this. I have exercised every day. Despite my huge caloric deficit everyday, I have only lost about four pounds, which is actually right on schedule. That said, I wonder how accurate my Fitbit is. I have more energy and I feel stronger. On day 9 I decided to add in some additional strength training exercises.
Day 7
Exercise: I went back to VZFit today and logged another 12 miles through Yosemite on the exercise bike. It took around 34 minutes and burned off 342 calories.

Day 8
Exercise: Today I was in FitXR and did three boxing workouts. They just updated the game to let you use your Oculus avatar in the multiplayer classes. I closed out with “The Winner,” which is my favorite class in the game so far. I averaged 8.1 in punching power, which shattered my previous record. It took 38 minutes and burned 389 calories.

Exercise: I really pushed myself today, going more than 20 miles in VZFit. I also did some push ups and crunches. In total, I spent 57 minutes exercising and burned 718 calories.

Day 10
Exercise: I went back to the Thrill of the Fight today and took on Edward “The Moneymaker” Price in Endurance mode. It was a tough fight and I went down twice, but I survived the five rounds and lost a narrow decision. It took 23 minutes and burned 191 calories. At one point, my heart rate hit 166, which I believe is an all time high since I paid attention to such things.
